Hug Me I’m Cold

Hug Me I’m Cold is a top down simple survival game about collecting the necessities for a working camp while surviving the cold. Collect the tent and firewood, and bring it to the campfire and the game progresses. The weather gets colder the longer the player stays though, and you have to be careful not to freeze. The player can prevent this by donning sweaters, however, the more sweaters you wear the slower movement is. The player progresses from level to level increasing in difficulty as it goes on. Hug Me I’m Cold was made in under 72 hours by myself and a couple of friends for the game jam Ludum Dare 40 with the theme “The more you have, the worse it is.”
